My path into becoming a startup founder has been a strange if traditional-sounding one. I graduated from McGill back in 2004 and then immediately moved to San Francisco to work for Google. I returned to Montréal in 2010 and decided that I would one day be a startup founder, and do some consulting for VCs in the meantime. My story was always that I was waiting for the right team and project, and then I’d jump in with both feet.
